INTERRACTIVE WHITEBOARD: Comprises of 'interraction' that is communication between two or more people while white board has to do with instructional aid. Therefore, interative whiteboard has to do with learning or communication with white board. It is a board which is liable to be connected to computer and projector. It is a stand-like board through which learning takes place. To education, it is very useful in the sense that it visualize learning and prone immediate feedback from the students. Interactive whiteboard is hereby encouraged to be used by school of education because 1 It render useless what some do say that teachers are rough due to chalk dust

INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD: Is a piece of hardware that looks much like a standard whiteboard but it connects to a computer and a projector in the classroom to make a very powerful tool. When connected the interactive whiteboard becomes a giant touch-sensitive version of the computer screen. It is one of the technologies which are revolutionising our classroom both in tertiary, secondary and primary school are seeing the benefit in their classroom all over the world. HOW IT IS USED: In other to start your interactive whiteboard, all you need to do once you have all the wire connected, is to calibrate it. This involves you running a small programme which comes with the software provided by the manufacturer. It allows the computer, the IWB and the projector to work together by pressing or clicking on each of the cross bars that appears, you are telling the computer and thereof the interactive whiteboard, exactly where the projected image is. HOW IT CAN BE ENCOURAGED IN THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION 1 It is more useful in our educational school because it makes learning faster and easier for the learners and the teacher. 2 It can be encouraged in the school of education because it helps students to learn more in a shorter space of time. 3 It helps to build confidence in the shy and inspiring teachers to learn more and become even efffective in what they do.

Response: Interactive Whiteboard is a presentation device that interface with a computer and a projector. It is a piece of hardware that looks much more like a standard Whiteboard but it connects with a computer and a projector in the classroom to function effectively. The teacher used it by just touching its screen with a special pen and finger. He controls the computer from the board screen without using the computer mouse and able to access and display any of its programmes. It can be encouraged in the school education because of the following reasons: it is good medium of communication in Distance Learning Education; it facilitates effective learning; it is kid magnet, that is it is fascinating; it allows learners to work together and contribute at the board.
